A food truck is a shop, a billboard and a kitchen, and it gets treated like all three. Grease, heat, hatch edges, generators, festival mud and a pressure washer every night. We wrap food trucks, converted vans, horsebox bars and catering trailers at Caterham for street food traders, event caterers and brands, on laminated cast film that handles the abuse.
We've done event and festival work for Nando's, Rude Health, Vita Coco and Puma, so we know what a summer of shows does to a wrap.
“Wrap Cube are insanely talented. They’re able to understand your vision and execute it to the highest standard. Thank you so much for all your help and work over our festival season.”
Dami, Nando’s, Reading FestivalThe menu, the name and the social handle have to read from across a field. The hatch side gets the brand; the rear and off-side get the reason to walk over. We design around the hatch, the serving counter, the generator door and the gas locker so nothing important is behind something that opens. And we plan the wrap so a panel that gets damaged by a grease fire or a reversing incident can be replaced on its own.

Printed on 3M IJ180 or Avery MPI cast film, laminated with a gloss or matte over-laminate that takes wiping down and pressure washing (from a sensible distance). Edges sealed at hatches and doors. Fitted indoors so the film holds. Three to five years is a fair life for a hard-working unit.
Three things on a food truck that a van doesn't have. Heat: the wall behind a griddle or fryer gets warm from inside; we choose film and laminate rated for it and avoid seams in that zone. Grease: the hatch surround and serving counter take daily wiping with degreaser; edges there are sealed so solvent can't creep under the film. Hygiene inspections: anything inside the serving area that's wrapped needs to be wipe-clean; laminated film is, but we'll keep graphics out of food-contact areas.

Street food brands change menus, sponsors and looks. Because we build on a panel map, a rebrand can be a new set of panels rather than a full re-wrap, and a summer sponsor panel can come off in September without touching the base livery. Tell us at the start that the look will change and we'll plan the layers accordingly.

A lot of catering trailers arrive with the previous owner's brand still on. We remove it, deal with the ghosting in the gelcoat, and check the surface before the new wrap goes on. Old, sun-baked graphics on GRP are among the slowest removals we do, so tell us it's a second-hand unit when you enquire and we'll price the removal in.
Wrap removal
Small van or trailer: one to two days. Larger units with hatches, awnings and graphics on every side: three to four days with settle. Priced by size and coverage, from a partial brand wrap on a small trailer to a full wrap on a large conversion.
Festival season starts in May and every food truck wants wrapping in April.
Priced by size and coverage, from a partial brand wrap on a small trailer to a full wrap on a large conversion. Quoted per job.
Three to five years on laminated cast film with reasonable cleaning. Grease and heat near the hatch are the wear points; we seal those edges.
Yes. The design is built on a template of the unit with every opening mapped so nothing important disappears when the hatch is up.
Yes. Panel-based artwork means we reprint and refit the damaged section only.
Through the Cube Branding group: signage, large-format print, event graphics.
One to two days for a small trailer with hatch and rear graphics; three to four for a large conversion with every side, awning and menu panels. Add the overnight settle.
Yes. The corrugated sides are a classic problem: film goes into the ribs with heat and patience, and the design is planned so text doesn't fall across the corrugations. It's slower than a flat-sided van and it's worth it.
Exterior film doesn't touch food. Inside the serving area we keep graphics out of food-contact surfaces and use laminated film that wipes clean.
