Every printed wrap that leaves Wrap Cube is printed here, in Caterham, on HP latex kit to HP's colour profiles, on 3M IJ180 or Avery MPI cast film, and laminated before it goes near a vehicle. We print for our own installs and we print for trade customers, sign companies and agencies who fit their own graphics or need panels for a vehicle elsewhere in the country.
The print is where a wrap's colour, sharpness and lifespan are decided. Get the film, the ink and the laminate wrong and no installer can save it.
“Our team are able to speak to our Wrap Cube Account Manager 24/7 and arrange emergency fixes for damaged vehicles or change our vehicle bookings at the last minute. We wouldn’t trust our fleet with anyone else.”
Andy, PRS Distribution, fleet clientMost of our print runs go straight into our own bays, but a growing share leaves as finished panels. Sign companies without a wide-format printer, agencies producing campaign graphics for vehicles in other cities, and fleet operators with in-house fitters all buy print from us. We supply panels cut to a panel map, laminated, labelled by position and rolled for transport, with the panel map so the fitter knows where every piece goes.
We print on HP latex to HP's colour profiles, and we are HP accredited for large-format print. Latex ink is dry the moment it leaves the printer, so panels can be laminated and fitted without the outgassing wait that solvent print needs, and the colour is stable in sunlight. The film underneath is cast, 3M IJ180 or Avery MPI, because calendered film shrinks and lifts on the big flat panels of a van or trailer within its first year.
The laminate is the part trade buyers skip to save money and regret. It protects the print from stone chips, wash chemicals and UV, and it is the reason a printed curtainsider is still bright in year five. We will not supply unlaminated print for a commercial vehicle, because it fades within a year and the customer comes back to whoever fitted it.
As a 3M Select Gold Partner the film, ink and laminate combination is one 3M has audited as a system, which is what puts the manufacturer's warranty behind the finished graphic rather than behind the roll of film alone.

A fleet is a colour-matching exercise. The red on van fifty has to match the red on van one, printed eighteen months apart on a different roll. We profile the printer to the film and laminate combination, hold brand references on file and proof against them, and print fleet batches together where the schedule allows. If your brand colour is a Pantone reference, tell us; if it is a bottle or a business card, send that and we will build the reference from it.
Proofs are checked on screen and, for fleet standards, as a printed swatch on the actual film before the batch runs. A colour that looks right on a monitor and wrong on a laminated panel in daylight is a common and avoidable problem.
We work from vector artwork where it exists, PDF, AI or EPS, with fonts outlined and colours specified. For photographic panels we need high-resolution images sized for the panel. If you have a panel map of the vehicle, send it; if not, we build one from the vehicle model and year so seams and fittings are planned before print. If you have a logo on a business card and nothing else, we will rebuild it.
Sign companies use us when a job needs cast film and lamination their own kit cannot produce. Agencies use us for campaign graphics going to vehicles in Manchester or Glasgow, fitted by a local installer working from our panel map. Fleet operators with in-house fitters buy panels to our standard so a van fitted in their depot matches a van fitted here. In each case the print, the film and the laminate are the same as we would fit ourselves, because we would rather the graphic lasted five years with our name on the invoice.
Everything is produced at 153 Croydon Road, Caterham, off the A22 near junction 6 of the M25. Trade customers collect, or we despatch by courier. If the vehicle can come to us, we will fit it too.
Yes. Panels are printed, laminated, trimmed to a panel map, labelled by position and rolled for transport or collection.
3M IJ180 or Avery MPI cast film, laminated with the matching over-laminate. We do not print wraps on calendered film.
Unlaminated print on a vehicle fades and scratches within a year. Lamination protects it from stone chips, wash chemicals and UV and is the reason a printed wrap lasts five years.
Yes. Send a Pantone reference or a physical sample and we build a reference on the actual film and laminate. Fleet batches are printed together where possible.
Vector PDF, AI or EPS with fonts outlined, or high-resolution images for photographic panels. If you only have a logo on a business card, we rebuild it.
Yes, if we hold the template or can build one from the vehicle. Colour is matched to the panels already on the vehicle as closely as the age of the existing film allows.
Yes. Reflective print for Chapter 8 and high-visibility work, and perforated one-way vision film for windows.
