Most of what we do is cars, vans, lorries and buses. This page is the rest. Motorcycles, motorhomes, caravans, campervans, boats, food trucks, trailers, mopeds, exhibition units, an Airstream, and a Gravity Industries jet suit. If it has a surface, we've probably put film on something like it at the Caterham unit.
The rules don't change: cast film, indoor fitting, proper preparation, checked before it leaves.
“Wrap Cube are insanely talented. They’re able to understand your vision and execute it to the highest standard. Thank you so much for all your help and work over our festival season.”
Dami, Nando’s, Reading FestivalThere's no template for a jet suit. What there is: 18 years of working out how film behaves on shapes it wasn't designed for, a 3M Select Gold Partner's access to the full 3M range including the films made for boats, and an indoor unit where a caravan can sit for three days while the film settles. Sign shops that mostly do vans get nervous with a compound curve. We don't.

Tanks, fairings, panels, wheels. Colour change and graphics.
Full and partial, colour refresh, decal replacement, tourer graphics.
Hulls, superstructure, RIB tubes, marine-grade film.
Branded units that have to survive a festival season.
Delivery fleets. We've wrapped a whole one.
Box trailers, horseboxes, mobile display units, tiny homes.
Dashboards, door cards, kitchen units, reception desks: through the Cube Branding group.
The jet suit. The dust cart. Ask.
(boats, caravans, motorhomes, some food trucks): oxidises to a chalk over years outside. Needs decontaminating and often polishing before film will bond for the long term. We'll tell you if it needs a polish first.

(trailers, horseboxes, exhibition units, lorry bodies): the easiest surface, provided the paint is sound. Rivets and seams are worked into, not over.

(fairings, mudguards, scooter panels, some caravan skirts): smooth ABS and polypropylene take film; textured or "grained" plastic doesn't. Some plastics need an adhesion promoter at the edges.

(RIB tubes, awnings): specialist films only, and we'll be honest about whether it's worth it.

(jet suits, race parts): film goes on well, and it's mostly about protecting an expensive surface rather than changing it.

Every specialist job starts with a conversation about what the surface is (gelcoat, fibreglass, painted steel, aluminium, plastic), what it's exposed to (salt water, sun, road grit, a deep fat fryer), and what the finish needs to do (colour, brand, protect, hide). The film choice follows from that. Then the usual: prepare, fit indoors, settle, check.
Box trailers and horseboxes are big flat aluminium or GRP panels, which makes them straightforward to wrap and very effective as branding. Horsebox owners want a colour refresh or a livery for a yard; trailer owners want the business on the side. Exhibition and display units are usually a brand's mobile stand, wrapped for a season of shows and re-skinned when the campaign changes. All three are built on a panel map so individual panels can be replaced.
Through the Cube Branding group we also apply architectural and interior films: dashboards and door cards in a car, kitchen doors, reception desks, lift interiors, shop fittings. Same 3M and Avery ranges in wood, stone, metal and solid colours. If your project involves a vehicle and a building, it can be one conversation.
Almost anything with a reasonably smooth, sound surface. Heavily textured, flaking, chalky or oxidised surfaces need preparation or aren't suitable. Ask us and we'll tell you.
It's quoted per job because there's no standard. Motorbike panels are the smallest jobs; a full motorhome or boat the largest. Dimensions get you a real number.
Yes where it matters. Marine applications use films rated for salt and immersion at the waterline. Caravans and motorhomes use standard cast film but the size and the GRP surface change the preparation.
Comparable to a car or van: three to five years for printed, five plus for self-coloured cast film, depending on exposure. Boats below the waterline are the exception and we'll advise honestly.
Indoors at Caterham, Surrey. Everything comes to us.
Usually. Tell us what the surface is and what it's exposed to. If we're not confident we'll say so rather than experiment on your property.
Through the Cube Branding group, yes: dashboards, door cards, kitchen units and shopfittings in architectural films.
Trailered or driven, to the Caterham unit on the A22. Tell us the height and length when you enquire and we'll confirm it fits.
The film carries the manufacturer's warranty when fitted by an approved installer, which we are. Our workmanship terms are the same as for a car or van. Exposure conditions on boats and some outdoor units are noted on the quote so expectations are clear.
Rough dimensions and what you want it to look like. We'll come back with a yes or no and a price. 020 8944 6360.
